A Flat-out Hoax

4 Reasons Why ‘Climate Change’ Is a Flat-Out Hoax

By John Eidson, American Thinker, October 8, 2018

First, a disclaimer: I am not a climate scientist.  In fact, I am not a scientist of any kind.  But I do have a degree in electrical engineering, which I mention only to point out that I am at least as qualified as the next non-scientist to form rational opinions about global warming claims.

In obtaining my degree, I took enough classes in chemistry, physics, and geology to develop a keen appreciation of the scientific method, the best way ever devised for winnowing the truth from fakery and deception.  If taking the scientific method into account, no intelligent person can fail to see that the constant drumbeat of wild and hysterical claims about the climate are insults to the search for Truth.

Following are four reasons why I will bet my life that “climate change” is the greatest scientific and political hoax in human history.

1. Rampant scientific fraud

Ordinary people like me don’t understand climate science, but we can spot cheating a mile away.  Without the assistance of a complicit Western media in burying multiple indisputable cases of outright scientific fraud, man-made global warming theory would have been blown out of the water years ago.

One of the most brazen instances of inexcusable scientific misconduct is documented by photographic evidence gathered during a three-month investigation by a veteran meteorologist.  As reported by Dr. David Evans, the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) placed hundreds of official global warming thermometers in locations entirely unsuitable for gathering natural temperatures: Continue reading

Going to Pot

Joint ventures“By 2015, California had 50,000 pot farms in the state and a legal medical marijuana industry worth $815 million.” Jim Long

“The next year, big pro-pot spenders including Soros and former Facebook President Sean Parker threw $16 million into support for Prop 64, another ballot initiative to legalize recreational marijuana. This time it won.” Ibid

“According to the testimony provided to the U. S. Grand Jury in Miami, it is the government of Cuba that is trafficking drugs and narcotics into the United States. Cuba is also providing support to terrorist operations throughout Latin America. The operation is secret and run out of Cuban intelligence, with other agencies participating on an as-needed basis.” Joseph D. Douglass, Jr., Red Cocaine: The Drugging of America, p. 97.

It takes a village to legalize marijuana, and the community includes everyone from billionaires to politicians

Fourth in a series on the legalization of marijuana

For soda drinkers worldwide, Coca-Cola’s advertising slogan—“Taste the Feeling”—may soon take on a new meaning: In September, officials at the Atlanta-based beverage giant revealed they are closely watching the growth of the cannabis drinks industry.

The feeling the company’s customers may eventually taste wouldn’t be the same high that marijuana smokers experience. But Coca-Cola spokesman Kent Landers said the beverage-maker is interested in drinks infused with an ingredient in marijuana that can ease pain but doesn’t induce a high.

The move could offer a boost in a soda industry with sagging sales, and it would follow the lead of beer-makers already on the path to marijuana-infused drinks (see “Pot in the bottle,” Aug. 18). Landers called Coca-Cola’s potential foray an exploration into “functional wellness beverages.”

The promise of wellness—whether medical, societal, or financial—has become central to the push to legalize marijuana, not just for pain management but also for personal pleasure. How has a little plant changed so many laws? How did marijuana gain freedom for recreational use in some states and for medical use in others—with future federal legalization looking likely? I Am Spartacus

“The movie [Sen. Cory] Booker cited is based on the 1951 novel Spartacus by Howard Fast, a Communist pisseur d’encre whom Time magazine had dubbed ‘Big Brother’s U. S. pen pal.’ In 1953, Fast won the Stalin Peace Prize, the only American to win the award other than Paul Robeson, a black American Communist who spent his life defending all-white Soviet dictatorships.” Lloyd Billingsley

What the media missed and millennials need to know.

Lloyd Billingsley, FrontpageMagazine.com, September 14, 2018

“This is about the closest I’ll probably ever have in my life to an ‘I am Spartacus’ moment,” New Jersey Democrat Cory Booker famously proclaimed during the Kavanaugh hearings. Since the documents he threatened to expose were already public, Booker’s gambit was something of a bust. On the other hand, as an election approaches, the senator’s reference is worth exploring.

Even Fox News showed footage from the 1960 movie Spartacus, starring Kirk Douglas, Lawrence Olivier and Jean Simmons, in which the Romans threaten to crucify rebellious slaves unless Spartacus identifies himself. The others then heroically proclaim “I am Spartacus.”  It was a dramatic moment, but nobody in the establishment media explained the back story.
