Gulliver Revised

“Like Gulliver rendered unable to rise, Christians are increasingly hobbled by a legal ‘network that spreads and binds those subject to it under a compulsion which cannot be escaped.’” Fay Voshell

“The fact is that Christianity in America has been under relentless attack for decades by the left.” Ibid

“Radical leftists see in practicing Christians, whose mores are antithetical to the new barbarism, as an unwelcome restraint on an ideology that promotes the doctrines that choices of sexual expression and choices of gender are absolute rights.” Ibid

Editor’s note: Once sodomy and transgenderism were declared legal in the United States, Gulliver’s final two strands were implanted.

State-Enforced Paganism in America

Fay Voshell, American Thinker, March 17, 2018

Recently the Huffington Post published an interview with Malcom Brenner, who had sex with a dolphin. He defended his bestiality, saying: “And I’m hoping that in a more enlightened future, zoophilia will be no more regarded as controversial or harmful than interracial sex is today.”

For those who have watched the steady descent of the sexual revolution into an abyss of deviancy, there is not much that surprises. Many predicted the results of following the “If it feels good, do it” mantra of the 60s would mean open season on all Christian sexual mores. They have watched as the so-called freedom of sexual choice has become so absolute that even pedophilia is viewed with increasing acceptance.

But the most powerfully dangerous ideation of the sexual revolution has arisen in the form of transgenderism, which advocates freedom to choose gender, thus distorting, blurring, or even eradicating the distinction between male and female.

How did matters regarding sexuality come to such a pass in a country that once was, and in many ways still is, a deeply Christian nation?

The fact is that Christianity in America has been under relentless attack for decades by the left, which has routinely embraced and promoted the power of the State when it involves encouraging unrestrained human will, particularly in sexual matters. Radical leftists see in practicing Christians, whose mores are antithetical to the new barbarism, as an unwelcome restraint on an ideology that promotes the doctrines that choices of sexual expression and choices of gender are absolute rights. America’s Civilian Army

1024x1024“We have seen just the beginning of the progressive forces within our country utilizing unsophisticated, easily led schoolkids for their political purposes.  This is a dangerous precedent.”  Alan Bergstein

“Unionized teachers are preparing the kids of America to use their weaponry of youth, innocence, and fragility to overturn the freedoms their grandparents and forefathers fought so hard to secure.” Ibid

Obama’s ‘civilian army’:  It was the students all along

Alan Bergstein, American Thinker, March 16, 2018

Now we know what that “civilian army” that President Obama was always telling us about consisted of.  We saw them in force all over the country not too long ago.  Throughout his eight years in office, he was secretly forming legions of youth shock troops under the tutelage and leadership of the teacher unions to be called out into the streets to fight the battles of his radical progressive ideology.  And how well he and his union cadre operated on their first mission out of the classrooms into the battlefields of the streets and beamed into the homes of every American via his well coordinated media accomplices.  It was a startling success for his war on the Constitution and the future of our country. Anarchy Reigns

Anarchy Is Swallowing Up the Social Order

E. Jeffrey Ludwig, American Thinker, March 3, 2018

Government in the name of order, control, efficiency, organization, the greatest good for the greatest number, solidarity, social justice, and safety is instead ruling over a society that is increasingly disordered, crime-ridden, unjust, and disturbed to an extreme.  A word that describes the direction of our acceleration through space and time is anarchy.

The momentum toward anarchy began with the move toward federal government expansion.  During Woodrow Wilson’s presidency, we began to see the implementation of what is now called the administrative state.  This was helped along by our participation in WWI, which created the need for more governmental controls.  This was followed by the massive Keynesian demand-side economics implemented by Franklin D. Roosevelt, the New Deal, and WWII.

Regulation grows by supposedly “meeting a need,” but meeting a need leads from that point into greater regimentation.  Greater regimentation means a suppression of individual freedom.  This suppression produces a reaction that is anarchy.  Therefore, we must be careful whenever we expand government with the premise that we are “meeting a need.”  Continue reading
