“History shows that all great nations commit suicide.” Arnold Toynbee
“If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.” Abraham Lincoln
“California Congresswoman, Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA), wants to federalize a state law to prohibit counseling to change a person’s sexual orientation. That doesn’t sound that extreme, but pedophilia is a sexual orientation according to this bill as well.
“Under the bill’s language, a mental health counselor could be sanctioned if there was an attempt to get a pedophile or gay individual to change his behavior or speak negatively about their behavior as it relates to sexuality.
“Republicans attempted to add an amendment specifying that, ‘pedophilia is not covered as an orientation.’ However, the Democrats defeated the amendment. Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL) stated that all alternative sexual lifestyles should be protected under the law, and accordingly decided that pedophilia is a sexual orientation that should be equally as embraced as homosexuality.” Google: Rep. Jackie Speier and Pedophilia
“Attacks on NAMBLA [North American Man-Boy Love Association] stink of politics, witch-hunting for profit, humorlessness, vanity, anger and ignorance…I’m a member of NAMBLA because I love boys too—everybody does, who has a little humanity.” Allen Ginsberg
“…the whole labeling of pedophiles as ‘child molesters’…is ridiculous.” Allen Ginsberg
“How do I get to queer the whole experience of life by showing up and being authentically who I am as a leather man, as a drag queen, as an openly gay man, as a lesbian, as someone who is bisexual or transgender or intersex or questioning…” Neil G. Thomas, Queer Theology: An Introduction
Editor’s Note: The Ginsberg and Thomas quotes are found in Michael E. Brown, A Queer Thing Happened to America—a must read for those interested in the homosexual revolution.
“Bob Portman of Ohio became the first Republican senator to declare his support for same-sex marriage, a change of heart that he said was prompted by his college-age son’s announcement of his homosexuality. A few days later, Hillary Clinton said that she too supports same-sex marriage, because gays and lesbians deserve equal rights.” National Review, April 8, 2013, p.10
Editor’s Note: Since gays and lesbians are part of the homosexual family (GLBTQIA) do bisexuals also deserve equal rights? If so that will entail three at the marriage altar…do queers deserve equal rights? Queers by practice (per Advocate magazine) enjoy multiple partners which could entail a dozen at the altar.
“Out of every hundred new ideas [e.g. same-sex marriage] ninety-nine or more will probably be inferior to the traditional responses which they propose to replace. No one man, however brilliant or well-informed, can come in one lifetime to such fullness of understanding as to safely judge and dismiss the customs or institutions of his society, for these are the wisdom of generations after centuries of experiment in the laboratory of history.” Will Durant, The Lessons of History, 35
“A youth boiling with hormones will wonder why he should not give full freedom to his sexual desires; and if he is uncheck by custom, morals, or laws, he may ruin his life before he matures sufficiently to understand that sex is a river of fire that must be banked and cooled by a hundred restraints if it is not to consume in chaos both the individual and the group.” Ibid., 35, 36
